    Data protection summary

A plain-language summary of how Calm Corner handles data, written for practitioners and their clients. Full detail is in our privacy policy and practitioner agreement.

    Where data is stored

Account and app data is stored securely in the EU with our hosting provider, using encryption in transit and at rest. Alongside the database, a small number of trusted services help us run Calm Corner: our email provider delivers notification emails, and Stripe handles payments. Both process only the data they need (such as an email address or billing details) under UK GDPR safeguards.

    What clients' practitioners can see

If a client joins through a practitioner's invite code, the practitioner can see the client's email address, whether their place is active, and which assigned worksheets they've opened. They see which grounding techniques the client uses only if the client switches on activity sharing. Practitioners can never see journal entries, quiz results or bookmarks.

    UK GDPR

Calm Corner is UK GDPR compliant. We collect the minimum data needed to run the service, never sell personal data, and use it only to provide and improve the app.

    Deletion

Clients can delete their account and all associated data at any time from their account settings. Deletion is permanent and removes journals, quiz results and subscription records linked to the account.

    Recommending Calm Corner to clients

Practitioners never receive client journals or personal content. You are responsible for the client emails, worksheets and private notes you add. See the practitioner agreement for details.
